The Narnian Virtues project has been designed to be open to, and usable by all schools, whether secular, or with a faith-ethos of any religion or denomination. The materials are secular and C. S. Lewis’ own Christian ethos does not drive the curriculum. We recognize, however, that there is scope within the curriculum for students and schools of faith to bring the values and ethos of that faith to their engagement in the project.
We welcome schools of all faiths and none to join the project and look forward to learning from the schools and students themselves about how a religious or faith identity informs readings of the Narnia novels and participation in the Narnian Virtues project.
The video below provides further information for faith and faith-ethos schools.
